If you chose, you can arrive on Friday afternoon
and camp on Friday night. We will have the grill fired up for you on Friday
evening so you can BBQ anything your heart desires. If you plan to arrive
on Saturday morning and camp only one night, you need to arrive and be ready to
go rafting by 9:00am. We transport you on 4-wheel drive trucks upstream,
over rugged mountain tops with ultra scenic vistas to your put-in point.
Your first day will take you on the "Wilderness Run", through an isolated
canyon, inaccessible by any other means. Along the way, you stop at the Escape
Ranch, get out of the boat and enjoy a nice lunch - prepared for you on a grill
in the shade of one of the oldest cottonwoods on the river. After lunch,
you encounter the rapids
"Oh S---!" and the "Wall".
Your rafting portrait is taken by Picture This, formerly -
Rapid Shooters, the company that wrote the book on action whitewater
photography, for a Saturday evening slide show of you looking way cool !
